Our Tours:

Along with the tours listed below, we are flexible and can generally arrange any specific program according to your wishes, depending on time and interests (religion, architecture, history etc.). We can also arrange transportation or modify programs to suite your specific needs.
Tours can be given in a wide range of languages. English, German, French, Italian, Japanese and Dutch are the standard languages for tours. However, we can arrange for guided tours in most other languages, as long as the booking is made well in advance.

One can spend forever walking around Prague, finding out the historical significance of each building, but we recommend one and a half days of sightseeing in the centre. This will provide you with the proper time needed to see the most important sites of Prague and ample photo opportunities as almost all the sites are within walking distance of each other.

Sightseeing tours in Prague

  1. Half day walking tour
  2. This tour covers the Prague Castle; Golden Lane, where Kafka used to live, and the Charles Bridge.
  3. Whole day walking tour
  4. This tour covers the Prague Castle, the Golden Lane, St. Nicholas Church, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, and the Jewish Quarter, including a synagogue and the old Jewish cemetery.
  5. One and a half day tour
  6. The same as the whole day tour, but also includes the Strahov Monastery with its ancient library and fantastic view; a short climb up either one of the lookout towers on the Charles Bridge or the Astronomical Clock, and a tour of Vyąehrad Castle, one of the oldest buildings in Prague.
  7. Tour of the Staropramen Brewery

  8. On this tour, you will discover the secrets behind some of the world's finest beer. Afterwards, guests are encouraged to sample the products. Na zdraví! To your good health!

  9. Three hour cruise down the Vltava River

  10. This cruise takes you out of the city to get a chance to check out some of the Czech Republic's lush forests that surround this magnificent river. The view of Prague on the way back is absolutely breathtaking. To better understand and visualize this cruise, we recommend listening to Smetana's The Vltava from My Country, probably the most famous piece of music to originate from the Czech Republic. In his music he transports the listener down the Valtava, describing the flow of the river and the feelings evoked by the beautiful scenery that surrounds it.

Excursions within the Czech Republic:
  1. Karlovy Vary
  2. One of the most beautiful and therapeutic towns in the Czech Republic, Karlovy Vary is the biggest and most famous Czech spa. Founded by Charles IV in the mid 14th century it has been visited by the likes of, Peter the Great, Freud and Bach. The town has more than 60 hot springs, 12 of which are used for medicinal purposes, including the production of Dr. Bechers' famous herbal liqueur, Becherovka.
  3. Kutná Hora
  4. Once the second largest town in the Czech Lands, Kutná Hora still displays the wealth it once reaped from the silver mines nearby. Among its many attractions, the Church of St. Barbara and Kostnice (the bone church, with a collection of about 40 000 skeletons) are the most important. Kutná Hora lies about 40 km outside of Prague and the tour can be completed in half a day.
  5. Karlštejn Castle
  6. The royal Gothic Karlątejn Castle was founded by Charles IV with the purpose of being a stronghold for all the treasures he had collected as the Holy Roman Emperor. Set upon a rocky hill overlooking the Berounka river, this is one of the most impressive of Czech castles. Only 30 km from Prague, the tour takes half a day.
  7. Konopiště
  8. Konopiątě Castle dates back to the 14th century but was extended in the 17th century and is therefore regarded as a Renaissance chateau. Its most influential resident, Franz  Ferdinand d'Este, who was said to have killed some 30 000 animals on the Estate, left behind an impressive collection of hunting paraphernalia. The tour, starting from Prague, takes half a day.
  9. Terezín (Terezienstadt)
  10. Terezín unfortunately found its place on the tourist map due to the Jewish ghetto and concentration camp set up in the town fortress by the Nazis during the Second World War. Around 160 000 prisoners are said to have passed through the fortress gates, 36 000 of them did not make it back. In front of the town fortress there is now a National Cemetery memorial containing the graves of 30 000 victims of fascism. The tour from Prague takes half a day.
  11. Mariánské Lázně
  12. An ideal stop on the therapeutic itinerary, Mariánské Lázně is the second largest spa town in the Czech Republic. Here, amongst the curative springs and spas, you will also find the finest golf course in the country.
